Vessels of Colour

Vessels of Colour is a therapeutic arts workshop for people who have care responsibilities. We use water-based materials, colour and the metaphor of a vessel to explore care, emotional capacity and support. Participants are invited to create their own abstract vessel artwork through watercolour, ink, mark-making and collage. The focus is not on making a “good” artwork, but on having a calm, creative space to make choices, notice what feels supportive and reflect gently without needing to share anything personal. The workshop supports regulation, choice, symbolic containment and connection through a shared creative process. No previous art experience is needed.
